Conduct marine habitat related assessment and monitoring work in order to evaluate restoration opportunities and understand project success; Assist with data entry, analysis and report completion; Conduct public outreach and education about marine habitat and fisheries topics via phone and occasional in-person events; Must be comfortable working onboard small boats; Must be comfortable putting on waders and going into shallow water bodies (up to) between waist and chest deep to collect data or samples. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary Range:
From $16.67 to $16.67 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries; marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
