Sales Specialist, Urology - New York City


Hollister Sales Specialists implement strategic selling initiatives with key business partners across multiple sites of care.¬  This is a field-based position which focuses on establishing and building relationships with key urology accounts that will result in increased sales to meet or exceed sales goals as defined in the annual operating plan, and support overall corporate profitability.¬ 



  • Meet or exceed sales targets

  • Possess and effectively communicate clinical and product knowledge

  • Effective customer needs assessment and solution development

  • Effective relationship management with key stakeholders and financial decision managers in key call points

  • Ability to interact with advanced practice clinicians including but not limited to Urologists, Urology Nurses,& Nurse Practitioners.

  • Develop strong working relationships with key direct to consumer dealers

  • As applicable, Contract implementation and effective penetration of key GPO and IDN's

  • Maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts, urology clinics and healthcare systems

  • Effective territory and account planning; able to appropriately allocate time between different call points

  • Complete all administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner¬ 


Essential Functions of the Role:¬ 

  • Ability to travel ‚€“ including overnight and weekends

  • Ability to communicate verbally and through electronic media

  • Ability to work within a team

  • Ability to analyze sales reports and data to develop business plans

  • Create effective strategies to increase sales and meet sales forecasts within the territory

  • Provide on-site clinical support and training as requested

  • Operate under compliance guidelines associated with being in a healthcare environment



¬ Academic/Credentials/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required or relevant work experience acceptable in lieu of degree.

¬ Length of Experience:

  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience required; outside sales experience in the Healthcare Industry preferred.

¬ Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

  • Competitive, Tenacious, Fearless, Passionate and Intelligent

  • Possess professional communication skills

  • Must reside within assigned territory

  • Must have the ability to travel overnight up to 50% and as business needs require

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
